Purpose of committee: The AAP Academics committee is committed to providing academic support to the students of the Academics Achievement Program. Our bi-weekly newsletter provides support to students in search of scholarships, and internships as well as student highlights. Meeting time: Friday, 4:15 - 5:30 PM
Purpose of committee: We develop World Changers Mentorship Program sessions curriculum for high school students in the Bronx, highlighting college prep and social responsibility. We also plan organization wide community service opportunities at least once a year. Our meetings consist of brainstorming for these programs, and if anyone is interested in getting involved, they can directly contact the chairs through email.

Meeting time: The Event Planning Committee doesn't hold regular meetings throughout the school year because of the nature of our committee.
Purpose of committee: As a committee, we plan K.I.N.G.S. in the fall and the AAP Gala in the spring. We recruit planning committee volunteers and divvy up the responsibilities for the event among them. Normally, for K.I.N.G.S., we do only recruit our women on campus to help put together this event, but for Gala we recruit any and everyone who wants to volunteer.

Purpose of committee: Games Day is the time of the week for the AAP family to come together and revisit our childhoods together. Every Thursday at 4:30pm, we come together and play a wide variety of games, ranging from strictly mental to extremely active. It's a great time with great people and great food! What's not to love about that? Gameslife is the committee responsible for planning and successfully executing Games Day each week. Gentlemen of Quality (GQ)

Purpose of committee: We, the Gentlemen of Quality, are a brotherhood dedicated to the principles of leadership, service, and scholarship. Purpose of committee: As the Public Relations Committee, we work together to display a positive image for our AAP community. We are the administrators for all social media outlets and the AAP Website. We also create the annual AAP yearbook and event fliers for upcoming AAP programs. Women of Excellence, Strength and Tenacity (WEST)

Purpose of committee: WEST is a women's empowerment organization dedicated to fostering leadership, sisterhood, service and mentorship.
