Nobel laureate Eric Kandel, along with artists and NYU neuroscientist Eric Klann, will discuss “At the Intersection of Art, Neuroscience, and Perception.”
Moderated by Lynn Gumpert, director of NYU’s Grey Art Gallery, and Klann, professor and chair of NYU’s Center for Neural Science, the roundtable will include artists Teresita Fernández and Robert Whitman, as well as Kandel, University Professor and Fred Kavli Professor at Columbia University’s Department of Neuroscience. They will discuss the relationships among mind, brain, perception, and art.
