Recitation and Laboratory Instructors for 2019-2020:
The instructors who lead the weekly recitation, workshop, and laboratory sections associated with Core Curriculum lectures are generally provided by the academic departments whose faculty are teaching the courses. Occasionally, the Core has a need for instructors beyond those a department can provide for its faculty.

College Core Curriculum Postdoctoral Teaching Fellowships for 2019-2020:
The College Core Curriculum at New York University invites applications for postdoctoral teaching fellows, effective fall 2019. These are full-time, non-tenure track, one-year appointments in either the Foundations of Scientific Inquiry or Foundations of Contemporary Culture. Over the course of the academic year Fellows work in a faculty-led team teaching six recitation or laboratory sections or their equivalent in the general education curriculum of the College of Arts and Science. Review of applications will begin on November 1, 2018, for August 16th, 2019 appointments and continue until positions are filled, subject to budgetary and administrative approval.
Successful applicants will have demonstrated effectiveness as college-level teachers, and will have completed their dissertation defense by August 16, 2019. Individuals selected for this position will not be allowed to engage in employment outside of the College Core Curriculum.
