Study Away
NYU has always encouraged its students to think of themselves as participants in and shapers of a complex and changing environment. NYU pledges to prepare students for lives in a diverse world. Qualified students in most majors can enroll in prehealth courses at NYU London, Sydney, Tel Aviv, Abu Dhabi, and Shanghai during the academic year. Students may also choose to study at other sites and should work with an advisor to plan for future completion of prehealth requirements. Check out how you can study away during your career at NYU.
Scholarships and Funding
There are a variety of ways to partially or fully fund your professional education upon enrollment or through loan forgiveness programs. Learn more about Scholarships and Funding.
Underrepresented Students
The Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) states that "Underrepresented in medicine means those racial and ethnic populations that are underrepresented in the medical profession relative to their numbers in the general population." These programs and opportunities are, however, open to students from all backgrounds. Check out opportunities for underrepresented students.
