The College Core Curriculum & NYU-AD
The College Core Curriculum is glad to accommodate visiting NYU-Abu Dhabi students in Core courses when possible, but students should be aware that NYU-Abu Dhabi has limited this opportunity to a maximum of five (5) students per semester in each course component of the Foundations of Contemporary Cultures (Texts and Ideas, Cultures and Contexts, Expressive Culture), and in the Foundations of Scientific Inquiry (Quantitative Reasoning, Physical Science, Life Science). Consult the course listing section of this website for each semester's offerings. Students need to secure permission in advance from NYU-Abu Dhabi in order to count College Core Curriculum courses toward their program of study. **In cases where a department course is approved to satisfy a component of the Core (whether offered in New York or elsewhere in the global academic network), note that such approval does not include January-term versions of these courses.
