The NYU SPS Center for Applied Liberal Arts presents a screening of "Cojot". This powerful documentary tells the story of a man who learns he is a Holocaust survivor, raised as a French Catholic, who sets out to kill the Nazi (Klaus Barbie) whom he holds responsible for his father’s death at Auschwitz. During his journey, he boards the El Al flight hijacked at Entebbe by German and Palestinian radicals. Cojot proves instrumental in getting hostages released and serves as a mediator between the hostages and hostage takers. This screening will be followed by a Q & A with Director, Boaz Dvir and Associate Producer and NYUSPS faculty member, Frederic Richter.
The event is free. RSVP required.
