Responsibilities:
- Participate in a semester-long leadership development series (bi-weekly meetings) with other second-year students. Programs will be offered in both the fall and spring semesters
- Complete a personal project at the end of the semester
- Participate in Alumni Mentor Program
Qualifications:
- Must be enrolled full-time in the College of Arts and Science
- Good academic and disciplinary standing
- Demonstrate a mature, responsible, and professional demeanor, and excellent communication skills
- Display a willingness to plan activities for the second-year class
- Ability to attend all trainings and Leadership Development Series sessions*
Note: incoming transfer students are not eligible to apply to be a Cohort President, however, we strongly encourage you to apply for other CAS Student Leadership Opportunities.

Application Timeline for Fall Institute (dates subject to change):
- January 31, 2022: Class of 2025 Second Year Leadership Institute application opens
- April 1, 2022: All online applications due by 11:59 pm ET
- April 7, 2022: Applicants are notified of the results
- April 21, 2022: 5:00 - 7:00 pm ET: Orientation for newly selected Second-year Leaders
Commitments (mandatory events, but subject to change):
- April 21, 2022: 5:00 -7:00 pm ET: Welcome & orientation
- Fall 2022: Bi-weekly sessions every other Friday from 4:00-6:00 pm ET, beginning September 16th, 2022.
