Transfer Orientation Leaders (TOLs) welcome new external transfer students to NYU and CAS during our Fall and/or Spring External Transfer Orientations. As peer leaders, mentors, and point people, TOLs play a key role in helping new transfer students acclimate to life at CAS by sharing resources and knowledge from their own college experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome new external transfer students to NYU and CAS
- Foster a sense of community through connection activities and other programming
- Introduce students to CAS and key resources, including the College Cohort Program
- Guide students throughout various orientation activities
Requirements:
- Must be enrolled in CAS
- Must have an understanding of the CAS external transfer experience
- Must have the ability to be in-person at the NYC campus for training and orientation activities
