NYU Semester Withdrawal Form
STUDENTS WHO ARE CONSIDERING WITHDRAWING FROM A COURSE, A TERM, OR FROM THE PROGRAM MUST MEET WITH THE POSTBACC PROGRAM DIRECTOR TO DISCUSS THIS OPTION IN GREATER DETAIL.
PLEASE NOTE: You do not need to proceed with the 'Semester Withdrawal' process if you are dropping individual classes and will remain enrolled in other classes. You may instead drop/add individual classes on Albert in compliance with the NYU Academic Calendar and the Withdrawal (W) Schedule.
You may not de-enroll yourself from ALL of your classes without meeting with the Postbacc Program Director and completing the NYU Semester Withdrawal Form in Albert. The link is available from the My Academics section of Student Center. You should proceed with this process only if you want to withdraw from ALL of your classes for the current semester. Complete the form if you are doing any of the following:
- Term Withdrawal
- Complete Withdrawal from the University
Leave Of Absences:
Students who are considering a leave of absence MUST meet with the Postbacc Program Director to discuss this in greater detail.
