CAS Proud to Be First collaborated with the Academic Achievement Program and the International Student Advising team to provide a free opportunity for students to visit a study away site for a weekend. During the start of spring break, students were able to visit the NYU Washington D.C. site, tour of the monuments at night, and see the Library of Congress.
Columbia university Law School Visit
Professor Trace Jordan and some first-generation students visiting Columbia Law School. Professor Jordan was able to reconnect with his former student, Melanie Calero (NYU CAS Alumna) who is currently a second-year student at Columbia Law School and also on the Executive board of the first-generation student group at Columbia, to show students around the campus. Students discussed the LSAT, applying to law school, and life as a law school student.
