What is WINS?
WINS is a mentored group of undergraduates who aspire to careers in science, engineering, mathematics, or computer science. WINS scholars meet regularly throughout the academic year to discuss topics of general interest to the group, socialize, and plan activities.
Who are WINS Scholars?
The WINS group comprises undergraduates who share an interest in a career in research, academics, or industry. WINS scholars enter as sophomores and remain in the group through graduation. WINS scholars are individually mentored and advised by the program director and program administrator.
What does WINS do?
WINS functions as a support group, a social group, and a forum for learning organizational, networking, and leadership skills. WINS hosts events throughout the academic year for the benefit of the greater University community, and also hosts gatherings for the group.
Is there a special curriculum for WINS?
No. WINS is a co-curricular scholars group.
